Open doors your expertise alone can’t—the speaking gigs you’ve been pitching for, media visibility you’ve been building toward, and clients who show up to calls already sold on working with you.

The health coach who went from begging for local $300 gigs to keynoting conferences at $10K+ per event. Before her book, she was pitching event organizers and getting ghosted. Six months after publishing, organizers were reaching out to her. Same expertise—but now she had the cred to be bookable at the highest level.
The leadership consultant who made $5K just in book sales her first month while barely doing any marketing because the book was selling itself. Readers were sharing it, recommending it, and buying her $5K leadership intensive before they even finished chapter three. That’s what happens when your book is actually good instead of just published.
The business coach who’d been stuck on the same intro chapter for six months until she used the Book Map process. Once she could see exactly what belonged where and why, she finished her entire manuscript in one week. (She texted me a photo of her finished book with about fifteen fire emojis.)

❌ Falling for the “write your book in a weekend” promises that flood your Instagram ads. These “books” are usually shorter than most restaurant menus, and good luck getting anyone to recommend something or upgrade to a high-ticket program from something with no real substance.
❌ Spending months creating what feels like your masterpiece, only to get it back from an editor looking like a crime scene—red ink everywhere, structural issues you never saw coming, and the soul-crushing realization that you’re basically starting over after months of work. (Bonus points if they tell you your book “lacks focus” without explaining what that actually means.)
❌ Finishing your manuscript with that triumphant “I DID IT” feeling, then slowly realizing it doesn’t actually make you any money—wrong angle for your ideal clients, no bridge to your offers, and whoops, you’ve just written the world’s most expensive blog post that brings you exactly zero clients.
❌ Dropping $13K-$50K+ on a ghostwriter thinking you’re buying guaranteed success, only to get back something that sounds like it was written by ChatGPT having a bad day (and these days: probably was). Most ghostwriters have never built a business, let alone written a book that converts readers into clients. You get business buzzwords you’d never say in real life and strategies that sound impressive but don’t actually work to make you 6-figures in new sales.
Not fun & not needed
Good thing you don’t have to learn any of these lessons the hard way. Let me show you.

I’ve spent over a decade in the book world, and I didn’t get here by accident. I started wanting to be an artist, but life had other plans. So I got the business degree, took the stable job, and hated every minute of it. But I was secretly writing my first book and obsessing over what made some books unforgettable while others put you to sleep.
That obsession led me to grad school for my master’s in publishing, where I wrote my thesis on what actually makes someone buy a book—the split-second psychology behind purchasing decisions. While other people were theorizing about books, I was studying the exact moment someone decides to buy.
Writing & publishing four books myself taught me what every author goes through: you’ll stare at blank pages, you’ll question everything, and you’ll wonder if your ideas will actually translate to the page. I also spent a few years as a ghostwriter, which taught me something important: you can’t just “write what you know” and hope it converts readers into clients. The writing might be pretty, but without strategy, it doesn’t work for your business.
Then, traditional publishing showed me the other extreme. When I took over CliffsNotes, it was barely breathing. I rebuilt it from the ground up and drove it from forgotten to nearly $1M in sales in under a year. Beautiful writing means nothing if it doesn’t serve the reader and the business.
You can’t edit your way out of deep structural problems—you have to build it right from the start.
That’s why I created something totally different.
She was a multi-million dollar coach who’d been creating written content for years. She was absolutely convinced that writing a book would be straightforward. After all, she cranked out compelling content daily.
Eleven book proposals later, she was still stuck. Publishers were interested, agents were calling, but she couldn’t actually finish the damn thing. She’d start strong, get three chapters in, then hit a wall and start completely over. This happened for 7 years. (Yes, seven. I’m not exaggerating.)
By the time she found me, she was equal parts frustrated and mortified. Here she was, someone who could write killer sales copy and engaging posts without breaking a sweat, but she couldn’t figure out how to structure a book that actually made sense.
The problem wasn’t her writing—it was that she was following the advice everyone gives. Start with what you know, write chapter by chapter, figure it out as you go. That approach works great for people who want a mediocre book that sit on shelves doing nothing.
My approach flips the whole thing. Instead of starting with what you want to say, we start with what your reader needs to experience. Instead of hoping your book will somehow work for your business, we reverse-engineer it from your business goals from day one.
This coach went from 7 years of false starts to a completed manuscript in weeks…
When you’re trying to organize years of expertise into a book that actually works for your business, “start with your why” doesn’t help you figure out what goes in chapter three.
Most nonfiction book coaches will tell you to create an outline—but how do you outline it when you don’t know what belongs where or what your reader actually needs?
We start with “What does my reader need to experience to become my ideal client?” and map out that transformation first—before you write a single word.
We reverse-engineer your entire book from your business goals—what you want it to do, who you want it to attract, and how you want readers to move toward working with you.
The “map” part isn’t just a cute metaphor. You’ll literally see exactly what goes in every chapter, why it goes there, and how it connects to the chapter before and after. No more staring at blank pages wondering what comes next.

This module covers the foundation work that makes everything else easier. Without it, you end up with structural problems that require expensive fixes later (or worse, starting completely over).
You’ll learn how to set up your book so it attracts speaking opportunities, gets shared and recommended, and creates qualified leads for your high-ticket programs.
Most people write what they want to teach and hope it converts readers into clients. This module shows you how to reverse-engineer your book from your business goals instead—so it becomes part of your client attraction system without feeling pushy or sales-y—and how to position your book so it stands out even in the most crowded markets.

You’ve nailed your topic. You know what problem you’re solving and why it matters. Now it’s time to get ruthlessly specific about what actually goes in your book and who gets to read it.
This is where you draw clear boundaries around your content so you attract readers who’ll become fans and repel the ones who won’t—and decide exactly how much to include vs. save for your programs so you become impossible to replicate.
This module shows you how to actually get the writing done efficiently. You don’t need perfect conditions, hours of uninterrupted time, or to become a “morning person” to write a book—none of that’s true.
When you implement the right system, you’ll write consistently while running your business, using tools and strategies that work with your existing schedule and energy patterns.

What might make sense to you as the expert doesn’t work for the reader without an emotional journey, so we can’t just write a book by dumping info “in logical order.”
When you outline using my Book Mapping process with the Heroine’s Journey and Purpose Points built in, you’ll know exactly what goes in every chapter—like paint-by-numbers without being template-y. You create a reading experience that feels compelling, which means readers actually finish your book and see you as the solution they’ve been looking for.
Now that you’ve mapped out your Heroine’s Journey structure, it’s time to fill in what you’re actually teaching. This is where you decide what knowledge to include and when to teach it so your book creates desire instead of accidentally replacing your high-ticket offers.
I’ll show you exactly how to write each chapter using a proven template that makes the writing process feel like building on a skeleton instead of staring at a blank page.

Now it’s time to turn your manuscript into a professional book that’s ready for publication.
This module walks you through the essential post-draft work: polishing your manuscript to catch credibility-destroying errors, getting reader feedback to confirm your book resonates the way you intended, and understanding your publishing options so you can make the smartest decision for your business.

You’ll know exactly what belongs in your book, how to structure it so readers can’t put it down, and how to write it without burning out or second-guessing every sentence.
And then there are the bonuses.
This is what separates this program from every other book course: you don’t just get the steps and ‘good luck figuring it’ out for your book. You get me—checking your work at the critical decision points so you don’t waste months writing the wrong book or building on the wrong foundation.
After you complete your topic work, hop on a private 30-minute call with me to make sure your book angle is absolutely killer. I’ll help you choose between your top topic options and sharpen your angle until it practically sells itself.
Most people choose the boring version of their idea—or worse, the angle that attracts browsers but repels buyers. Six months in, they realize their book appeals to people who’d never actually hire them.
Thirty minutes with me and you’ll know you’ve got the angle that makes your ideal clients say “I HAVE to read this book” instead of “Oh, another book about that.” You’ll walk away confident your topic will actually work—not just sound good to you.
After you complete your outlining homework, I’ll review your Book Map and send you a personalized video audit catching any structural mistakes before you start writing. Then you’ll hop on a private 30-minute call with me to talk through questions and next steps.
I’ll walk through your outline section by section—spotting issues that would require expensive rewrites later, repositioning your best client stories for maximum impact, and strengthening the moments where readers think “I need to work with her.”
You’ll start writing knowing your structure works. No wondering halfway through if you should’ve organized everything differently.
Submit your module homework to me during your first 12 weeks for personal feedback—including clarifying questions and quick brainstorms when you’re stuck on an assignment.
Even with a clear roadmap, you’ll hit moments where you’re not sure which direction serves your business better. Maybe you’ve narrowed your book promise down to two options but can’t decide which one positions you for the clients you actually want. Maybe your book structure makes sense on paper but something feels off and you can’t pinpoint it.
Instead of spinning your wheels for weeks, you’ll get expert guidance that keeps you moving forward.
Join monthly live office hours and twice-monthly co-writing sessions for as long as the program runs. Office hours give you real-time troubleshooting when you hit roadblocks. Co-writing sessions give you dedicated time to actually write—with accountability and momentum built in.
This is what separates authors who finish from those who leave manuscripts sitting in Google Drive for years. Writing a book while running a business requires consistent forward movement, not just good intentions.
You’ll have a standing appointment to show up, write, and get support—whether you’re working through your outline or polishing your final chapter.
Here’s what happened when she finally had the right map to follow: She wrote her entire first draft in three days. She was so fired up after our Book Mapping session that it all just flowed out—like her ideas had been waiting behind a dam for years, and our work together finally broke it open.
After seven years of false starts, she finally had a completed manuscript that she was proud of and that her publishers loved—and more importantly, one that positioned her expertise in a way that would actually work for her business.
That’s what becomes possible when you finally stop circling the same book and start with a map that gets it done.

as a reminder…

You’re a female, feminine-aligned, or nonbinary coach, consultant, or speaker who’s built something real—whether that’s a 6-figure business or you’re getting close to that milestone in the next few months.
You likely have a $1000+ signature offer that consistently attracts clients who get tangible results from your work.
You help people transform their lives or businesses through your authentic methodology, framework, or approach that you’ve developed from your years of experience. You’re ready to diversify your income with a book that creates revenue on the frontend and brings in more ideal clients & opportunities on the backend.
You want to write commercial nonfiction—thought leadership, how-to, business, leadership, finance, personal growth, health and wellness, spiritual guidance with practical applications, or even storytelling cookbooks. You’ve been thinking about this book, and you’re ready finally make it real.
You’re still in the early stages of building your business or haven’t yet created consistent income. Your book will be strongest when it’s built on proven experience and results—think of this as the expansion of success you’ve already created rather than the foundation.
You want to write fiction, academic research, or a memoir without actionable guidance for readers. This system is designed for business books that transform both readers and your business. Hybrid memoirs with practical application absolutely work with this approach.
You’re looking for publishing and marketing training. This program focuses specifically on getting your manuscript written strategically—see my other programs for publishing & 1:1 coaching.
You want AI to write your book or you’re looking for shortcuts to ‘bestseller’ status. This is for entrepreneurs who want to write their own authentic expertise into a book that reflects the quality of work they’re already known for.
You get immediate access to Modules 1 and 2 after purchase so you can get started immediately. After 7 days, the remaining modules unlock automatically. Your 12 weeks of personal feedback begins the Monday following your purchase, and you’ll schedule your bonus calls during onboarding. This timeline respects that you’re running a business and need flexibility while ensuring you get expert guidance when you’re actively implementing.
You can, but I’d encourage you to start now while the momentum is fresh. You’ll have life-of-the-program access to all content, so if life gets busy, nothing disappears. The 12-week feedback window begins after purchase, but the modules, dashboard, and templates are yours to revisit whenever you need them. Most clients find that starting—even slowly—beats waiting for the “perfect” time that never comes.
If you feel you truly cannot start immediately but still want to purchase now, email me and let’s work out a start date for you that works for both of us. We must agree prior to purchase if you’ll be starting at a later date.
Your active feedback period is 12 weeks of personal guidance on your homework and book progress. This timeframe is designed for entrepreneurs who want results without dragging the process out indefinitely. You keep life-of-the-program access to all content and resources, and you can attend monthly office hours and twice-monthly co-writing sessions for as long as I’m running them. Most clients find this creates the perfect balance of support and accountability without overwhelming their existing business commitments.
The modules are self-paced video training covering over 6 hours of strategic content, plus your proprietary Book Map dashboard and templates—all inside your private course portal. You can choose to absorb everything quickly or pace yourself, though most successful clients dive into the training within the first week to maximize their 12-week feedback period. This delivery method works best for established entrepreneurs who prefer learning efficiently without unnecessary group calls or forced social interaction that eats into their business time.
You have life-of-the-program access, which means you can revisit the content as long as the program remains current and relevant to the market. This is more valuable than hollow “lifetime” promises because it ensures you’re always working with up-to-date strategies rather than outdated advice that no longer serves the publishing landscape. The frameworks are timeless, but the delivery and examples evolve to stay effective for your business goals.
If you’re an established entrepreneur with a proven methodology and clients who get real results, you’re in the right place. You need enough business experience to have something valuable to write about—this isn’t about helping you figure out what you do, it’s about turning your existing expertise into a strategic book. The sweet spot is entrepreneurs who’ve moved beyond the startup phase and are ready to turn their knowledge into a permanent asset that works for their business.
You’ll receive immediate access to Modules 1 and 2, plus a simple contract to sign within 24 hours—standard business practice that protects both of us while keeping things professional. Once the contract is returned, you’ll complete a brief onboarding form about your book concept so I can provide relevant feedback, then schedule your bonus calls and access your Book Map dashboard. The entire process is designed for business owners who understand that taking smart steps makes everything run smoother while getting you into the strategic work quickly.
Many clients upgrade to my Author Atlas 1:1 coaching program after experiencing how much faster they progress with strategic guidance. It includes everything: publishing strategy, marketing that converts readers into clients, plus 6-12 months of private support throughout your entire journey, based on your timeline needs. For entrepreneurs who prefer a self-directed approach, my Publish & Prosper program handles the publishing and marketing systems.
For entrepreneurs who just want extra accountability and a bit of brainstorming during the writing phase, I also offer add-on Voxer containers for real-time support between our calls. Most clients know pretty quickly whether they want to move faster with more access, and I’m happy to discuss which option fits your situation.
Plan for 3-4 hours of “book work” per week during your active 12-week period, though many authors finish their book in about 6-8 weeks of work. “Book work” includes watching modules, completing assignments, outlining your book, and writing the book.
Some clients batch this into one or two focused sessions per week; others fit it into the margins of their existing schedule (I give you tips for both). The beauty of this approach is that once you have your strategic foundation mapped out, the actual writing becomes much faster because you know exactly what goes where and why. This time investment now saves months of writing in circles later.
Not completely, but you should have a general sense of your expertise area and who you help. Module 2 and your Book Topic Perfecting Call are specifically designed to help you nail down your exact angle and positioning. If you’re torn between multiple book ideas or unsure how to position your expertise, that’s exactly what we solve in the early stages. However, if you have no idea what you’d write about or you’re still figuring out your core business methodology, you’ll want to establish that foundation first. I can help you with that in a Magic Morning together.
You’re not alone—many of my clients describe themselves as “really good at starting things and not so good at finishing them.” (I’m ADHD, too. 😘) That’s exactly why this program exists. The combination of a clear structure, regular feedback, and built-in accountability means you’re not relying on willpower alone. The Book Map gives you a specific container for every idea so your brain stops spinning, and the 12 weeks of feedback keeps you moving forward instead of stalling out at chapter three. This system is designed for busy entrepreneurs who need a clear plan + structure to finish what they start.
This is one of the most common fears—and one of the first things we solve. Module 2 specifically covers how to structure your book so it creates demand for your offers rather than replacing them. The goal is a book that gives readers genuine transformation while making them want more from you specifically. When it’s done right, your book becomes the thing that makes people say “I need to work with her” instead of “I got what I needed, thanks.”
You have 7 days to explore Modules 1 and 2 and decide if this approach is right for you. If you realize it’s not a fit, just let me know within that window and I’ll refund your purchase, no questions asked. After the 7-day period, the remaining modules, your bonuses, and your Book Map dashboard unlock, and all sales are final. If you’re unsure whether this approach fits your situation, reach out before purchasing so we can discuss whether this is the right move for your business.
I would love to answer them. Email me.
Every day your ideas stay scattered across presentations, client sessions, and content that disappears in 24 hours, you’re missing the opportunities that come to people with books. The speaking gigs, media coverage, and premium clients who prefer working with published authorities.
You know what happens when you keep pushing this to next quarter, next year, or “when things settle down.” (Spoiler: things don’t settle down. They get busier.) The opportunities keep going to the people who took action while you stayed in planning mode.
But here’s what can shift when you finally give your expertise the strategic home it deserves: speaking opportunities can start coming to you instead of you pitching for them. Clients can arrive pre-educated on your methodology and ready to invest. Your rates can stop getting questioned because your published authority speaks for itself.
Six months from now, you can either be holding your strategically crafted book that opens doors your work alone never could—or you can still be watching others get the recognition and opportunities your expertise deserves.
Your ideas are ready. Your business is ready. The only question left is whether you’re ready to stop being everyone’s best-kept secret.
As with any personal growth program your results with The 5-Star Book Map may vary from these consumer testimonials. Since these factors differ for each individual, Books & Alchemy LLC cannot guarantee your success or results, nor is Books & Alchemy LLC responsible for your success or failure. The 5-Star Book Map is not a “magic bullet” for writing your book. It takes effort and dedication. Books & Alchemy LLC provides you with a process to write your book and these students agree.
