Our refund policy is pretty straightforward. Each program has a 7-day refund window, and after those 7 days, all sales are final.
Damn Good Book group program: within 7 days of your purchase date, you can get a refund minus $99, which covers Stripe fees and the content you’ve already received. If you’re on the payment plan, you get your first payment back minus $99, and the rest of your payments are canceled.
Author Alchemy 1:1 Coaching & Publishing: within your first 7 days, you can get a refund minus the first month’s program value ($1,500), which covers onboarding, portal setup, and the strategic preparation specific to your book. If you’re on the payment plan, the first payment ($1,600) is non-refundable, and the rest of your payments are canceled.
Why? Two main reasons:
- Digital products can’t be “returned” — When you purchase any of my programs like Author Alchemy 1:1 Coaching & Publishing or the Damn Good Book group program, you’re getting immediate access to intellectual property, frameworks, and systems I’ve developed through years of publishing industry experience and work with hundreds of authors. This knowledge can’t be “unseen” or returned.
- I’m honoring the commitment you made to yourself — Let’s be honest, writing a book is a big undertaking. I know how easy it is for those doubt gremlins to creep in: “Maybe I should just keep struggling with this outline a bit longer” or “I’m so busy running my business, maybe this isn’t the right time…” Part of what you’re paying me for is to help you follow through on your decision to finally write a Damn Good Book™.
